Can I use my hours for custom website upgrades, design and development?

Yes! Your hours can be used for a variety of purposes, including:


Updates to website content, copy and media.

Loading new products, categories, discounts or special offers.

Updates to e-commerce features.

Updates to website foundations and templates.

Custom coding for additional functionality and features.

Graphic design services (for digital use only).

Integrations setup and/or review of third-party platform connections.

On-demand, personalised support and training, including the production of personalised screencast video tutorials.

On-site and off-site (video link) training sessions.

Consultancy services (i.e. substantive, actionable advice) regarding your website functionality, digital marketing or branding strategy. 


What hours can not be used for:


Ongoing API, merchant gateway and third-party platform fees.

Graphic design for print and physical collateral (but can be quoted with a client discount)

Issues identified as bugs or errors that requiring patching (“patches”) except where the error has resulted from alterations by the client.


Note: Platform and functionality errors should be reported to Website Serious immediately and will be corrected as soon as practicable at no charge.

How will I know how many hours I have left?

Monthly Statements & Records

 

All support requests are registered as tickets on the helpdesk. The progress of your request, as well as any further queries or correspondence is logged in a secure client dashboard.


A monthly statement listing the work done and remaining hours will be issued to the client at the end of every month, and/or when less than an hour block remains. 


Requests that are likely to take in excess of your remaining hours will only be done with your express consent, and extra hours can be purchased in advance to cover the excess (to prevent you from paying full priced fees).

Do I need to buy hours for patches, fixes and regular platform maintenance?

No, that's already covered.

 

Your website subscription (paid annually) covers all platform-wide upgrades, security and compliance maintenance, SSL security certificates and patches, all rolled out securely a from a centralised location.


Issues identified as bugs or errors that requiring patching (“patches”) are also corrected at no charge, except where the error has resulted from alterations by the client.


Note: Errors should be reported to Website Serious by emailing support@websiteserious.com.au, and will be corrected as soon as practicable at no charge.

What if I dont have enough hours to cover my request?

Requests that are likely to take in excess of your remaining hours will only be done with your express consent, and extra hours can be purchased in advance to cover the excess (to prevent you from paying full priced fees).

What if I have a whole new project or big idea?

Existing Client Discounts for New Projects
