The Brief

After years of using multiple systems and clumsy workarounds, The AUU needed an all-in-one system, purpose built to manage their many-faceted organisation. The AUU manages on and off-campus events, employment and student services and several types of memberships. They wanted a system designed to manage and collate large amounts of data while also acting as a marketing platform.

The Results

The new platform - so much more than a website - was deployed in 2017, and includes a complete membership platform, allowing the Union to sell, manage and scan memberships for attendance records. Other modules include Event listings and tickets sales, Job Vacancies, Lockers Bookings and more.

The system has multiple levels of access for members, staff, volunteers, and administrative staff. Student Clubs have their own purpose built system called My Club, allowing them to login, apply for grants, manage their members and mini-site, promote events and even sell club memberships and merch online.

Recently developed entirely by Website Serious, The Union's first Self Service Kiosk is the latest edition to their digital repertoire and is due to be deployed at their Waite Campus in the coming weeks. It will allow students to complete several tasks via self-service as well as connecting them to Union staff at North Terrace campus via a Video Call at the push of a button.
